4 Years of Marriage: What To Do With Your Wedding Dress
Today is our 4th anniversary! It is crazy that 4 years have already passed, it feels like we got married yesterday. I wanted to share with you what I did with my wedding dress after the wedding.I love my wedding dress, I truly felt like a princess when I wore it. This dress was incredibly easy to get on (I could zip myself in and out of it) and it was incredibly comfortable. I was happy to wear it all day.
So many women put their dress in a box and put it in their closet and forget about it. I wanted to do a trash the dress photoshoot but Paris was not on board with that plan. So we decided to do something else with it. I had seen this picture on Pinterest a bunch of times and thought it was a really cool idea. But since we have moved so much since we got married, I knew that I couldn't do that. And Paris doesn't have a big enough closet to put this in. So instead we created this space in my old room. I love that we used these pictures from my bridal shoot to make it a fun space for my dress. My cousin loves to see my dress and even touches the skirt some. Every now and then I will put my dress just to see if it still fits (not only does it fit, but it's too big!). I love that I have easy access to my dress and it is out so everyone can see it.
