What We Brought Back from Buenos Aires

After a LONG trip with 2 adults, 2 kids and SO many suitcases, we finally made it back to the States! While I tried to keep my shopping to a minimum while in Buenos Aires, I still obviously had to buy some things. I sent my mom with a suitcase full of things when they visited but I wanted to show you a complete haul of everything we brought back from Argentina.

What We Brought Back from Buenos Aires | Leather Goods

First up, I'm bringing a bunch of stuff home from Prune. This is my favorite leather goods store in the city; they have locations all over. I have gone into so many different leather goods stores and, honestly, this one is my favorite quality-wise and price-wise. I have a belt, a pair of sandals and a few absolutely gorgeous wristlets that are the softest leather ever and were only $25 USD, which is insane to me! I bought three purses for myself from there as well as a Christmas gift for someone, and then my mom bought several when she was visiting too.

What We Brought Back from Buenos Aires | Clothing

We found the cutest sweater at the Recoleta Cemetery Market that is perfect for my daughter because she loves pink and she loves animals. It's absolutely darling! They had a few different handmade sweaters that were like it as well. I bought a shirt and a dress from Port Said as well as a few other pairs of shoes, but I sent those home with my mom already.

What We Brought Back from Buenos Aires | Wood Items

I'm also taking home some wood products. I got a few as gifts and they're absolutely stunning. Again, they were much less expensive than they would have been in the U.S. They're all native Argentine wood.

What We Brought Back from Buenos Aires | Pottery and Food

We got a few ocarinas which are small hand crafted musical wind instruments that make a flute like sound. We got one for my daughter and then three as presents for family members. I bought a beautiful handcrafted plate and a bowl with matching mate cup and bombilla for gifts.

We also grabbed some delicious chocolates from one of our favorite places and some maté for my uncle.

What We Brought Back from Buenos Aires | Handcrafted Toys

I bought adorable knit toys from a stall at the San Telmo Market. I got a little pretend burger for only $10 USD that is so cute and soft and will be going to the baby for Christmas. I think he'll love it! I also got wooden puzzles for the kids. We got a small wood penguin for my daughter, a Noah's Ark for my son and a nativity for myself.

I'll have to go over a few of the things my mom brought back after we are settled in. We are SO excited to be home, especially in time for Christmas but are definitely missing our beautiful Buenos Aires and all of the goodies the city has.
