Trunk Club for Women
I first heard about Trunk Club when I was opening the mail one day. They had sent out a mailer about their men's services and advertising that they would be offering services for women as well. As someone who works full time, is doing school, blogs and is trying to have some semblance of a life, I don't have tons of time to shop. Most of my shopping is done online and it usually entails a lot of hopeless window shopping. So I signed up for Trunk Club and waited to receive the email with the exciting news that Trunk Club for women was available.I got the first email in October. I had just moved, I was in the middle of a very math heavy semester of school and I didn't have time to talk to a stylist about my style choices. So I put it off. Then a few weeks ago, a friend posted on Facebook that she had started working for Trunk Club and was available as a stylist. I knew this was the perfect fit. She already knew my style so it would be a lot easier. It was. I filled out the survey on the Trunk Club website and provided them with all of my sizing information. Then I told Sarah what I was looking for. The beautiful thing about Trunk Club is that it's not a subscription program. You get a box when you ask for one. You only pay for the items you keep and you don't have to pay for shipping. Sarah put together a few pieces, I approved them and my Trunk shipped out that same day.I had 10 days to try everything on and decide what was staying. I am IN LOVE with this red shirt from MadeWell, I never would have picked it out on my own but that's the beauty of this process. Neither set of jeans fit but the Rag and Bones ones were close. I haven't had much luck with boyfriend jeans but I loved these. Overall the process was pretty painless. The pricing is similar to Nordstrom so this isn't bargain shopping. But I think it's worth it! I won't use this on a regular basis but when I have something missing from my closet or I am shopping for a specific trip or occasion, I will definitely be using Trunk Club!Check out this article from Buzzfeed that reviews differently styling services, they tried out Trunk Club and loved it too!
