The Great Dry Shampoo Debate

I grew up washing and blow drying my hair every single day...yes you read that right. It took me at least an hour to get ready every morning and it was a giant pain. After I got married, when I was working full time, blogging and doing school I read a lot about how you aren't supposed to wash your hair every day and how dry shampoo was the best thing every invented.

So I tried the Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry Two Day Extender and I was hooked. The only problem was because I have so much hair, one bottle only lasted a few days. And at $20 a bottle, it was a problem!

I had read a lot about Batiste Dry Shampoo, including this BuzzFeed article testing against other high end brands. I was skeptical thinking I was fine with the dry shampoo I was using and thought the Batiste was never going to do the same thing.

Boy was I wrong! I finally caved one day in Ulta when Batiste was on sale for buy one get another 50% off. So I bought 4. I used on bottle for 2 weeks (only washing my hair 4 times) and I still had product left! My hair looked great every day and I didn't have a white film anywhere.
