Last winter, I wasn't able to wear my cute cold weather boots. My feet just couldn't do it when I was pregnant. I was so excited to be able to wear them this year and even broke out a pair of OTK boots before it got really cool out. Mistake. Now I am on the hunt for stylish but comfy shoes.
I have been suffering from back & hip problems for years. I was expecting the issues to worsen after having Jackie but nothing came of it. Until September. Then the pain became constant again. I am working with doctors on fixing the problems and I will be doing a separate post on that. For now, I have decided that boots are just too much for my hip and back so I am sticking with lighter shoes.

So I have been on the hunt for cute shoes that are also winter appropriate, meaning warm and in same cases waterproof. I did get a few cute pairs last year but shoes get wet, wear out and need to be replaced.
I have so many of the keds x kate spade new york. They are a great way to add sparkle (pun intended) to an outfit and are incredibly comfortable. I always wear a pair with a dress when I am doing a conference. They are cute and comfy but are also dressy enough to wear for work. I love my Sperry Duck Boots. You can now design your own version of this shoe so the colors will be unique to you. The New Balance shoes are a more recent purchase and I am OBSESSED. I waited to buy them this year when they were on sale and I grabbed them for 30% off! I have had the UGG Snow boots since college, you can tell by the mud, and I love them.
