Shoes For Long & Narrow Feet | Odd Sized Feet

I have long feet. Well, long toes to be specific. And people have commented about them my entire life. I even had a nail polish brand repost a picture of mine that showed me wearing their polish on my toes. People were really mean about my toes in the comments. Luckily, it's been pointed out to me so often, I embrace it! But it makes buying shoes really hard. I wear a size 10 in most brands and my foot is really narrow. Finding sandals that actually fit on my foot is difficult. Finding sneakers that I don't slip out of because they are too wide is hard.

So over the years, I have gotten really good at knowing where to find the best shoes for long & narrow feet. Today I'll share which brands and styles work the best for long & narrow feet.

Shoes For Long & Narrow Feet | Sneakers

I have tried so many sneakers. And they are always disappointing. They are often too wide and also make my feet look even longer than they already are. So I am VERY picky about which sneakers I buy. Keds makes a great sneaker and I know when I buy from them, the shoes are going to fit and I won't have to worry about the shoes coming off. So much so, that I tend to buy multiple pairs of the same shoe, in several colors. You may have noticed all of the glitter Kate Spade x Keds shoes I have. I love the style, glitter is my favorite color, but it's mostly because the shoes fit so well. They also don't make my feet look huge. Oh and they are comfortable! I used to wear them when I was doing a conference. So three days straight!

As for running shoes, I tend to lean towards Nike. They have a narrow shoe to begin with and I feel like I can tie the shoes tight enough that they won't fall off.

Shoes For Long & Narrow Feet | Sandals, Flats & Heels

I have been very successful when it comes to sandals, flats & heels at target. The A New Day brand tends to run in the narrow side. I do usually size down in their shoes to a 9.5 and it works out really well.

I still do have to be really careful with sandals. Anything that is more strappy or has a buckle, usually doesn't work.

Shoes For Long & Narrow Feet | Rain & Outdoor Boots

Hunter boots have been some of my favorites when it comes to rain boots. For me, most rain boots tend to run on the wider side so I love how narrow some of the Hunters are.

I have also found a lot of success with Sperry and UGG for outdoor shoes. Layering with thick socks makes it easier as well. But both of these brands make shoes that don't make a size 10 look huge, which is a big factor for me when it comes to buying shoes.
