Rome In A Day

There are so many things to see and do in Rome that spending just one day there is almost impossible! I love all of the history that Rome has to offer. Here are some of my  top things to do in one day in Rome.

1) See the Colosseum. The key word is see. You can get tickets to get into the Colosseum, if it is open, and you can walk through the amazing structure. However, there can be a long wait or it can be closed. If you are only in Rome for a day, be sure to swing by and snap that super touristy picture!

2) Hop on a bus. There are several buses that will take you through the entire city in just a few hours. You can jump on and off when you feel like it but you can still see the majority of the city with the guided audio that is provided. You will be able to get a lot of really great pictures of the city this way too!

3) See the Spanish Steps. I love the Spanish Steps. They have been featured in so many movies, most specifically Roman Holiday. Don't miss this!

4) See the Tiber River. The Tiber River has been around for centuries and it fed the Romans during their ride to power. I find this river fascinating!

5) See Vatican City. You could spend a week in Vatican City, so if you are only in Rome for a day, be sure to go and see what this separate nation looks like!
