My Favorite Gluten Free Brands and Products
I get a lot of questions about my gluten free brands and products so I figured it would be good to just do an entire post on them! I have been gluten free for 6 years now so I have tested a lot of products. I know that everyone has their own specific tastes and I know that other gluten free people won't agree with all of this but these products have been popular with my entire family!
Udi
Bread- I LOVE Udi bread. White or whole grain. It is great for toast, cold sandwiches or grilled. My favorite right now is grilled cheese. This bread does well frozen or left out, but lasts the longest when you freeze it. I keep a loaf in my freezer so I can grab some whenever I want a sandwich. It thaws pretty fast out of the freezer so if you are patient, it is worth it. I also love how it tastes like actual bread. A lot of gluten free bread is dry and you could probably hurt someone with is when it's frozen. Not Udi bread!
Muffins- just like the bread, the muffins are delicious! There are a bunch of different flavors but anyone who knows me wouldn't be surprised to know that my favorite is the chocolate, chocolate chip.
Pillsbury
Chocolate Chip Muffins- I discovered these muffins on accident one day. They come in both chocolate chip and blueberry but (shocker) I like the chocolate chip best.
Kinnikinnick
Donuts- Gluten free donuts will end up being the death of me. I try not to buy them. I ate them a lot during my second trimester but I stopped because I was worried about too much weight gain! These are seriously to die for and I know that I am not the only one with this opinion!
Glutino
Pretzels- The Husband loves these pretzels. He has actually gotten into an argument with someone at work over which gluten free pretzels are the best, and he is stuck on these! I keep these in the house at all times because they are a nice, salty snack!
Kind
Granola Bars- I was hooked the moment I found out these were gluten free. They are so good, good for you and come in lots of different flavors. Our favorites are the Dark Chocolate Chunk and the Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Chunk.
Barilla
Pasta- Like bread, there are lots of different gluten free pastas out there. After trying a lot of them, I can tell you to stick to the corn based ones. The corn based pastas hold up better and aren't as mushy (like the rice based ones). When a major pasta brand decides to make their own gluten free pasta it can either be amazing, or terrible. In this case, it's been amazing!
evol.
So this brand I have only discovered more recently. They carry both gluten free and regular products. I have tried these eggs cups as well as their street tacos and their mac and cheese. Everythign I have had so far has been really good!
