London In A Day
This week is all about some of my favorite cities. I know that sometimes you can only spend a little bit of time in a city, sometimes only a few hours. So I want to share with you some of the things that I think you shouldn't miss. Today, I am starting off with one my favorite cities.
I love London. I love the history, the access to public transportation and the people. I love that it is such a diverse city and you can food from all over the world there. There is so much to do in London that it was hard to narrow down just a few things to do but here are my top picks!
1) Take a boat ride of the Thames. This is a great way to see a lot of London in a short period of time. You can easily see Big Ben, the London Eye and Shakespeare's Globe Theater in just one hour!
2) Tower Bridge. I really think that Tower Bridge is an iconic part of London. You can easily run over and see the beautiful bridge after you are done with your boat ride!
3) Take a cab. London cabs are so unique, especially compared to anything in the US! So after you are done taking amazing pictures of Tower Bridge, grab a cab and head over to St. Paul's Cathedral.
5) St Paul's Cathedral. This is a must when you are in London. The architecture from this place has been used over and over again all over the world. The cathedral is absolutely stunning and there will be less people than at Westminster Abby!
6) The Tower of London. This has to be one of the most amazing and historic places in all of London. So many people were kept here and it was the Royal Palace at one point. Be sure to allow yourself a few hours here because there is a lot to see!
