Lates By Kate House Dresses & PJs | Why I Love House Dresses

I mentioned this on my Instagram stories yesterday, but I have a weird side effect of the combination of a few of my medications. While I am sleeping, my feet get VERY hot if I am wearing pants. This can be uncomfortable and tends to keep me up at night. I discovered a few years ago that wearing a night gown/ house dress to sleep in makes a HUGE difference. Even when it is 10 degrees outside, I can't wear pants to bed.

The problem is finding a night shirt/ house dress/ night gown that is both long enough and the right weight. A few months after I bought the Lates By Kate pjs, I heard that Kate was releasing her House Dresses. I was excited to try them out and see if they were what I had been looking for.

These house dresses were EXACTLY what I had been looking for. They come in a bunch of colors and are the most buttery soft fabric. They are safe to wash and while Kate doesn't reccommend putting them in the dryer, I do anyway. And they have all lasted and kept their shape. There are buttons down the front so they are nursing friendly. The buttons are really easy to undo so you can unsnap them one handed. Kate has honestly thought of everything to make these dresses the best thing ever. They are they first thing I put on when I get home from work every day.

One of my favorite parts is that they have pockets. Am I the only one who is frustrated that women's loungewear doesn't usually have pockets? Why is that? We all have phones and other things that need to go into pockets. Why do designers think that we don't need pockets? Thank you, Kate for adding pockets to all of your designs because we all need pockets in our lounge wear!

I have talked about the Lates by Kate PJs before, you can read all about them here. Sadly right now they have not been restocked, so I didn't want to talk about them in detail again now. I will say, they are incredibly amazing and I can't wait for them to be restocked and for new patterns to be added. They are so soft and comfy. I often go downstairs to get the mail while wearing them and I don't feel like I am in my PJs.
