Full Makeup Routine & An Announcement!
Full Makeup Routine
I have been wanting to do a full makeup routine post for awhile. There are so many products, especially Maskcara Beauty products, that I have been using for years that I love, that I want to share with you. I have done individual posts about some of these products, which you can read by going to the Beauty section on the blog, but I wanted to show you how everything all works together.

Full Makeup Routine | Step 1: Prep
I am not the best at doing all of these things every day, but I try to do them all at least three times a week. First, I use the Tula Purifying Cleanser, usually in the shower. I love this stuff. It saved me during my pregnancy when I had some really bad acne. I love how clean my face feels after I use it and I feel like my make up goes on so much better when I use it.
Then I use the Tula Hydrating Day & Night Cream. This stuff is so light and so magical, The Husband calls it face queso. I will spot treat acne with this stuff and it will be gone the next day. It is a great way to moisturize your skin, without putting on something super heavy. This is my 4th container of this in the last year. It does last a long time, I just keep giving the last little bit of it to family members because I love it so much!
Next up is the Tula Illuminating Serum. Again, a magical potion in a bottle. I have naturally very pale skin that can be red and blotchy at times. When I use this stuff consistently, my skin tone is even and I am actually comfortable leaving my house without make up (only when necessary!). I have had this bottle for almost a year and it isn't even half way gone yet!
I have natural dark circles. It is due to the bone structure of my face. When I don't get enough sleep, I get dark circles. When I am stressed, I get dark circles. You get the point. My makeup is amazing when it comes to covering up my dark circles, you can read more about that here. When I feel like I need a little eye boost (which is at least 4 times a week), I had the Tula Multi-Spectrum Eye Renewal Cream to my prep routine.

Full Makeup Routine | Step 2: Prime With Maskcara Beauty Setting Spray
This is probably the easiest and shortest step. In order for my makeup to go on nicely, and to stay on, I use the Maskcara Beauty Stay Out There Setting Spray. I have tried a lot of different setting sprays and this one is my favorite. It smells amazing and it works so well!
Full Makeup Routine | Step 3: HAC Using Maskcara Beauty Products
It took me a long time to figure out my makeup. I sometimes overdid it with the bronzer in high school and went around looking like an Umpa Lumpa. But I feel like I have a good grip on the right shades for me and how things work. If you haven't heard about Maskcara Beauty yet, here is your introduction. It is a one layer HAC makeup system that gives dimension to your face and saves you time, and money.
I have been using Maskcara Beauty products since 2014 and I don't think I will ever go back. They are perfect for traveling and they take up way less space than any other make up! There are so many different shades, you will always find something that matches your skin tone. All of my makeup is in this amazing Double Decker Marble Compact. I have had almost every single compact that Maskcara has released and this one is by far my favorite. I can store my creams on one side and my powders on the other. I have linked all of my brushed below!
I start off with my Highlight in Aura and put on my nose, around my mouth and on my forehead. I have found that I like using Highlight in White Peach for under and around my eyes. Then using Contour in Shadow, I put it along my jawline, down my neck, on the top of my forehead and then I use it to make two lines down the sides of my nose. I apply Blush in Baby Watermelon to the apples of my cheeks.
To finish it off, I add Illuminator in Honey to the places I want a little more attention. This is usually on the tops of my cheekbones, down the center of my noes, above my upper lip and on my chin. I then blend it all with the Perfecter. A trick I use is to spray the Perfecter with the Setting Spray before I blend, it's better than using water and it helps my makeup stay longer.

Full Makeup Routine | Step 4: Eyebrows & Eyes
After I have blended everything in, I use Contour in Shadow to outline & fill in my eyebrows. My cousin was color matching my makeup after I had Jackie and we discovered that Shadow was perfect for my contour color and it is the exact same color as my eyebrows. So win-win for me!
I love, love, love the Maskcara Beauty eyeshadows! They come in these tiny tins and you can get whatever colors you want, you don't have to buy a giant pallet and only use a few colors. I use Eyeshadow in Sabrina to highlight around my brow bone, Eyeshadow in Bright Eyes for my eyelid and Eyeshadow in Basic for the crease.
Depending on the day, I will either line my entire eye or just the corners of my eye with Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner in Brown. I like to do my entire eye for a more dramatic look and the corners for an everyday look. That is followed up with L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara in Carbon Black.
Full Makeup Routine | Step 5: Powders, Setting Spray & Lipstick
I finish the entire process off with some Setting Powder in Vanilla Dust. This is such a great powder, it doesn't make you look white but it also does not detract from the colors of your HAC. Sometimes, I add some Bronzer in Caymen, especially if I want some more color in my face.
I add a few spritzes of the Stay Out There Setting Spray to top it all off. Like I said before, this stuff is by far the best setting spray I have ever used!
On days where I want some color on my lips, I add some lipstick. I fell in love with LipSense this winter and my go to color right now is Luv It. It is such a great neutral pink!

Full Makeup Routine & An Announcement! | ANNOUNCEMENT!
If you have made it all the way to this part of the post, you are a rockstar! You all know that as a blogger, I have relationships with brands so that I can offer you discounts on products that I love and sometimes I do receive commissions from those relationships. You also know that I have been selling LipSense for awhile now (which I am starting to wind down for lots of reasons, but I still have product so if you want some, let me know before it's gone!).
I am now super excited to announce I am a Maskcara Independent Artist! That means that I will be selling Maskcara but not in the traditional MLM way. All I do it promote the product. I will have samples and will be happy to color match you. I may also be doing make overs for people who are more local (we will see). I will be able to help you with questions about the products, color match you and let you know when new products are being released.
You can shop all of my Maskcara Beauty products in the links I have shared and you will be purchasing through my shop. All products will ship from Maskcara Corporate and they also handle customer service/returns. Sounds amazing right? No products to buy and hold onto, no shipping costs. I figured that since I have been using Maskcara Beauty products for so long, I might as well share my knowledge and who couldn't use an extra side hustle?
Anyway, if you are interested in being color matched, send me an email or message me on Facebook or Instagram. Or if you want to join my team and also sell Maskcara Beauty products to make a little money on the side or just because you love makeup, shoot me a massage! You can also purchase product by following this link and going to the shop section.
