Freshly Picked Soft Soles Vs Mini Soles | Buying Baby Shoes

I didn't buy shoes for Jackie for the longest time. She has both long and wide feet and she would never keep her shoes on. When she finally started walking, I knew I needed to get her shoes. I had heard of Freshly Picked and read all of the reviews. I wasn't thrilled about the price point but I knew that I needed good shoes for Jackie. So I broke down and bought a pair. It was definitely worth it. When I do buy them, I usually do it during one of the sales. There are several different kinds of Freshly Picked shoes, especially for babies, so I want to break them down for you!

Soft Soles are great for babies that are just learning to walk. They are supportive but also have the flexibility for your little one to tip toe around and learn how to balance on their own. They are all made of leather so I was a bit skeptical about how they would hold up against the elements. I had always been very careful about letting Jackie run around outside with her moccs on because I wanted to make sure they lasted. Then we took Jackie to Great Country Farms and she wore a pair of her soft soles. They not only held up well in the mud, dirt and water but they hardly took any damage.

The soft soles have been great for Jackie learning to walk and being comfortable with it. She has great balance and doesn't trip when she runs anymore. These shoes are great for kids that have wider feet, like Jackie.

I wasn't sure when I was going to move Jackie to the mini soles but she wore sandals all summer so I decided to just go ahead and get her some. They are just like soft soles but have two pieces of rubber soles on the bottom. They are great for kids who are a little older and are comfortable walking and running. Jackie wears a size 6 and these only go up to a size 7, sadly. I had decided to keep Jackie in the mini soles instead of graduating her to the sneakers because of how wide Jackie's feet are. She needs something her feet are comfortable in but won't also come off easily. Jackie can still tip toe in these shoes but I like that she has more support.
