Where to Find Modest Prom Dresses | Why It Matters

It is prom season! Where I grew up, Prom wasn't until May but I am hearing more and more about prom happening in the next few weeks so I figured I better get this post up fast for you all! I did a similar post to this one on where to find modest Homecoming dresses and why I choose to dress modestly, that you can read all about here.

I feel like there are so many prom dresses that don't have tops to them or have huge slits up the legs that go all the way up to the thigh. That makes finding a modest dress that doesn't make you look like your from 15th century France, difficult.

I am all about finding dresses that can be worn again and again, even after prom. I won't scar you with pictures from my prom (from 9 years ago) but the dress I picked was simple, flowy and I used it throughout college. I think that finding a dress you can wear over and over is the best use of your money. And if you can find one for less than $100, that's even better!

In my day (am I dating myself here?) Prom dresses were full length. Every other dance required a shorter dress and full length formal dresses were reserved for Prom. So I have rounded up some of my favorite dresses for prom this year at the bottom of this post.
