Rachel Parcell launched a new collection a few weeks ago so of course I had to try a few of the dresses! In the process of trying them on, I also decided to try on the jumpsuits and the dress from Gal Meets Glam again. When I bought the jumpsuits, the intention was to keep one and have Paris keep the other. Paris then bought the dress a few weeks after since we loved the style so much. But she liked how it looked on me better. So I took this opportunity to try on all three and see which jumpsuit I like best and if I do like the dress. I have linked everything below along with a few jumpsuit options since the ones below are sold out.
As we all decided when I tried this jumpsuit on the first time, it is beautiful. The fit is perfect and the design of the entire jumpsuit is perfection. Julia knows how to design clothing. But to be honest, I think that the jumpsuit looks better on Paris. Also, I don't need two jumpsuits. I am wearing a size 6 and it is true to size.
I decided this was the jumpsuit that I wanted to keep. It is stunning on and makes an incredible statement. The black jumpsuit is beautiful but this one is a stand out piece. I love the pockets. It is so hard to find dressier pieces that have pockets. This is also a size 6 and fits true to size.
Recognize this dress? It is the one I tried on a few weeks ago. Paris had ordered it for herself and then decided she liked it better one me. As it is the same style as the jumpsuits, it made the most sense to swap the dress for the black jumpsuit. It is a size 6 and it fits trie to size. I love the look and the fit if the dress.
Now, on to the Rachel Parcell dresses! This dress is one that was released last year in another color. The teal green is beautiful. It is an elegant dress that would be perfect for an event. I don't think it would be great to be worn over and over. There is a lot of fabric in the ruffle and it can be a lot to manage. I am wearing a size small and it is true to size.
You know when you see a dress on the model and you think, I can try that and maybe it will look as good on me? Rachel Parcell makes this dress look amazing. I do not. It is a very feminine dress but I didn't like the peasant style back in the early 2000s and I don't like it now either. It just doesn't look good on me. The dress is a size small and runs true to size.
I saw Jenica from A Slice of Style wearing this dress to the Bundled Blessings event and knew I wanted to try it on. It looked amazing on Jenica and I hoped it would look as good on me. Thankfully it did! I am wearing a size small in this dress and it is true to size. This is another dress that is a statement piece. There is a tie the comes with it but it will come off easily. It is only held on by thread ties, which can easily be cut off.
