As soon as we landed in Jordan, we drove straight to Petra. This meant we landed at 3 AM and arrived at the hotel around 6:30 AM. Our plan was to spend the entire day exploring Petra, otherwise we would try to sleep. It actually worked out really well and we stayed up for most of the day.  Not all of the pictures were taken by me, Emma and Shane took some as well! Get ready for picture overload! We first came through the entrance of Petra, which takes a lot longer than you would expect. We hiked down to the Siq which is the first entrance to the city. You then have to hike through the Siq to actually reach the treasury. I would seriously recommend good walking shoes, water and plenty of time when you go to Petra.

Once we got to the Treasury, I had no idea that the city was so large! We spent a long time wondering around and climbing the city. It was amazing! Our guide then took us to a restaurant in town for dinner.

While we didn't spend a lot of time there, we did spend the night at the Petra Marriott. It was really nice and the food at the breakfast buffet was amazing! The views from the back of the hotel were the best. You can even see Aaron's tomb in one shot!
