Eurotrip Itinerary

This was quiet the trip. Before I go into details about what we did in each city, I wanted to give you an outline of the itinerary of the craziness. I’m still not sure how we did it all in just 4.5 days.We were supposed to leave on Sunday 1/24 but due to Snow Storm Jonas, we were buried under 2 feet ( cm) of snow. United was great about the flight cancellation and they made it easy to reschedule the flight. We were rescheduled for Monday 1/25, but that flight was also cancelled.  I’ll talk more about how that went down on Wednesday. After another rescheduling, we flew out on Tuesday 1/26 at 6:35 pm and landed in London at 6:20 am on Wednesday 1/27.Eurotrip Itinerary | Breezing ThroughAfter a 4-hour layover in the Lufthansa Senator’s lounge, we took off from London at 10:35 am. We landed in Warsaw at 1:40 pm.Eurotrip Itinerary | Breezing ThroughWe had a meeting in Warsaw at 4 pm. We went straight back to the airport and got on another plane that took off at 8:20 pm (an hour later than scheduled). We landed in Paris at 11:15 pm.Eurotrip Itinerary | Breezing ThroughWe then drove almost 4 hours to a suburb of Nantes. And arrived at the hotel at 3:15 am on Thursday January 26.Eurotrip Itinerary | Breezing ThroughThankfully our meeting wasn’t until 2 pm so we got to sleep in until almost noon. We went to our meeting, which went until 5:15. We then drove back to Paris. On the way back, we stopped in Ancenis for dinner. We arrived at the Marriott CDG Airport Hotel at 11:30 pm.Eurotrip Itinerary | Breezing ThroughWe left Paris at 7:10 am on Friday 1/29 and landed in Vienna at 9:10 am. We had a chance to go to the hotel and then toured the city (more on that next week). Our meeting was at 2 pm.Eurotrip Itinerary | Breezing ThroughWe left Vienna at 1:10 pm on Saturday 1/30. We landed in Frankfurt at 9:20 pm.Eurotrip Itinerary | Breezing ThroughAfter a 2 hour layover in the Lufthansa Senator’s lounge, we left Frankfurt at 5:10 pm and landed in Washington DC at 8:35.Eurotrip Itinerary | Breezing ThroughIf you weren’t keeping track, that was 6 flights, 2 four hour drives and 5 cities in just 4.5 days. Come back Wednesday to find out how our experience with United went and why I am thinking about not being so mad at them all of the time. Thanks for reading!Breezing Through Blog
