Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach

One of the days we were in Charleston, we were able to go to Sullivan's Island, which I had read was something you have to do when you are there. It was about a 30 minute drive to the beach from our hotel. It was a beautiful day, until we got out to the beach! It was really windy, I couldn't keep my hat on and doing anything on the beach was pretty much pointless. We did find the old lighthouse though which made the Husband really happy!Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing Through Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing Through Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing Through Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing Through Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing Through Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing Through Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing Through Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing Through Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing ThroughYou can see the loose sand blowing over the wet sand.Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing ThroughI was able to gather a few shells. I loved this one, but a crab was hiding from the birds in it so I decided to leave it on the beach (didn't love that). I did find quiet a few large seashells that I haven't had much luck finding anywhere else.Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing Through Charleston, South Carolina: The Beach | Breezing ThroughBreezing Through Blog
