I know it is October but I have found that getting ready for the holidays ahead of time has been a life saver for me. It started in 2013 when I was organizing my first conference. The conference was going to be the beginning of November and I knew that I was not going to have time to buy gifts before the conference and after being overseas for almost 3 weeks, I knew I would not want to have to worry about gifts after the conference either. So I start looking for gifts starting in August. Sometimes even July. I keep my list of people in mind and I buy things I think will be right for those people, no matter what the time of year.
When I am buying gifts, I like to buy items that you can't find in every store, unique things. I often like to find things when I am traveling, in local shops. That isn't always practical so I try to keep track of online boutiques that have cute things that I love. So I am rounding up some of my favorites for you! I kept hearing about these blankets but I didn't really want to spend over $100 on a blanket. When it comes to stuff like blankets, I like to stay on a budget. But the Husband's birthday was coming up and he hadn't decided on a birthday gift. Saranoni has a University line, including a Utah State blanket. I broke down and got one for him. It is the softest, warmest blanket I have ever bought!
