5 Years of Blogging | How It Started

I can't even believe I have been blogging for 5 years now! It's amazing how time has flown and how much this space has changed in 5 years. For those of you that have been around since the beginning, you may remember the original travel posts that I was doing. Back in 2014, I had just wrapped up my first conference and I was getting ready for the second one. I was doing a lot of traveling, which I love. That's where this blog began. I decided to document my travels and share my tips and tricks from my experiences.

5 Years of Blogging | How It Changed

As the years went on, I realized that I had a lot of other content to share. So I pivoted to bring more fashion/style/lifestyle content to this space. I have always loved fashion and clothes. I have never had a desire to be a designer but I can appreciate beautiful pieces and I can usually find a pretty good deal on them too.

Once Jackie was born, I switched into a little bit of mommy blogging too. There have been a lot of fun posts we have done over the last few years that never would have done without her!

I have also added a few lines of business here. I became a Maskcara Beauty artist and I blog about that regularly. I am now also branching out to offer social media services. I have learned a lot about optimizing social media in the last 5 years and I have applied a lot of that to my full time job. Now I am going to be working with clients to help them do the same. I am also working on a course that will teach you how to utilize social media to bring in clients and money.

5 Years of Blogging | Going Forward

Phew! There has been so much change here in the last 5 years, I can hardly believe it. But it has all been good change. Necessary change. And I'm loving the path I am on right now.
