I think Melissa and Doug puzzles are some of the best out there. They have a range of sizes so any kid, even an infant, can play with them. Jackie has had some of her puzzles since she was tiny and has carried the pieces around like toys. She especially loves the Disney character one you can see in the above pictures. I love that they are thicker pieces that will stand up on their own. Jackie will often take a few of them to bed with her! There are so many options when it comes to these puzzles, you can find something for everyone.

I have suggested getting Hanna Andersson jammies in the past but their clothes are amazing too. They are soft and wear incredibly well. 2018 Holiday Gift Guide For The Kids | JellyCat Baby Soother Blanket
This has been Jackie's constant and favorite toy since she was 3 weeks old. A friend of my mom's gave it to us as a baby gift and Jackie latched right onto it. She sleeps with it, takes it everywhere with her and it soothes her when she is upset. I even broke down and bought extras so that if she (or I) loose one, it isn't a crisis. Instead of keeping them wrapped up, she has access to all of them so that they all get the same amount of wear. She knows she has more than one and is very okay with it. I have several at our apartment, there are two at my parent's and my aunt has one at her house since Jackie is there once a week.
I love these because they come in a variety of colors and animals. I probably would have tried to get Jackie hooked on the Unicorn if I had known there was one. But we love her pink bunny (conejo) and it works for us! These are great to get for expecting parents or even for a kid that already has one. You can never have enough backups!

What kid doesn't love a ride on car? There are so many more options now than there were when I was a kid, you can find something not only for every kid but for every personality. I had no idea that there was a dinosaur one! These are great for first kids because their younger siblings can get use out of them too later down the road. Little Tikes as the largest range of them but there are other brands I have linked as well. These can be used inside or outside!
