20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Hanna Andersson Burp Cloths
These are the best of the best. The only thing better are the handmade ones a dear friend made for Jackie (I am talking about you Dee) but not all of you have a Dee in your lives. So this is the next best thing. They are soft, I can't even explain how soft they are. Someone gave them to us as a shower gift and I couldn't believe how soft they were. I actually went and bought more because I loved them so much. And they come in a cute set, which makes it easy for gift giving. There are so many pattern options, how do you choose?

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Sandra Boyton Books
Sandra Boyton is the best. I can't think of how anyone could be offended by her books, they are gender neutral and they usually have a very cute lesson or theme to them. So they are the perfect gift. We have duplicates of several of her books but I am ok with that. The duplicates live at Paris's house so Jackie can play with them there too. Since they are board books they are practically indestructible. Did I mention they are all about animals?

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Diapers
Some of my cousins gave me diapers as a shower gift. I couldn't have been more thrilled. They even gifted me diapers in a bigger size than newborn. Babies go through diapers faster than anything else. So gifting diapers isn't a cop out. It is brilliant. And gifting larger diapers is even more genius because you never know when you are going to need them but if you already have them on hand, you will be thanking the person that gifted them to you for the rest of eternity.

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Teething Toys
Can we all just agree to call these chew toys? That's what they are. I know babies aren't dogs but "teething" toys serve the same purpose as "chew" toys. But seriously, every baby needs these. I found some for Jackie and she carries them around, gnawing on them, happy as a clam. There are some really cute shapes out there so you can find ones that fit the parents' personalities. Everyone wins and the parents will think it's adorable.

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Jellycat Animal Soother
Jackie attached herself to a Jellycat bunny soother at 2 weeks old. It was a baby gift from a friend and she hasn't slept without one since. One of my cousins suggested that once we figured out what Jackie's favorite toy would be, to buy several of them for just in case. We did that as soon as we discovered that conjeo (Spanish for rabbit) was the favorite. While you can't guarantee that one of these will be every baby's favorite toy, I can't see what it's not worth trying!

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Pee Pads
I have talked about this before but when I was about 36 weeks pregnant, I was terrified of my water breaking in the car, on my couch or on my bed and ruining one of those things. So I carried around puppy pee pads with me. My water never broke (they broke it in the hospital) so I was left with 50 unused pee pads. My cousin was visiting after Jackie was born and suggested we use the left overs when we changed Jackie's diaper or on top of her mattress. I can't tell you how many times this saved me from having to wash Jackie's changing pad cover or saved her mattress from a blow out. These are amazing. You may have to explain why you are giving the gift, but trust me, the parents will love it once the baby is born.

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Old Navy Jammies
You all know my love for Hanna Andersson jammies (well everything Hanna Andersson but that's not the point). The problem with those jammies is the price point. I always get Jackie's on sale. So when I discovered these jammies from Old Navy, I was thrilled. They are cute, soft and get the job done. The zippers are easy and they are probably the easiest jammies to get on and off a baby. I love all of the colors they come in too!

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Anglecare Bath Support
I can't tell you how many people I have told about this thing. I found it thanks to Jenica over at A Slice of Style. She was showing off how great it was when bathing her twins. I knew I needed one. I registered for it and someone bought it. We used it for every bath until Jackie grew out of it. I didn't have to hold her in the tub. She just sat there on her own, in the water. I truly think that this thing turned her into a water loving baby. Trust me, this is an awesome gift!

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Teething pacifier clips
Jackie started teething at 4 months. She literally had 2 teeth at 4 months old. So she has been chewing on everything since she was about 2 months old. I discovered these pacifier clips and I love them for a number of reasons. 1) The plastic clip. Jackie figured out early on how to undo the metal clips. I was terrified she was going to pinch the inside of her mouth with one of them. These are hard for adults to open, so baby won't figure it out. 2) The rubber beads. Since Jackie was already chewing on everything, I wanted something she could chew on that would help her feel better. These are awesome!

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Stroller Organizer
Stroller organizers are great gifts. They are for the baby but they are really for the parents. And parents like getting something for themselves too. Most strollers don't come with enough storage/cup holder/organization so having one of these is a great way to add that to a stroller. There are lot of options and you don't have to know the gender of the baby to get one of these either!

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Eric Carle Books
Who doesn't remember readying Eric Carle books? I feel like they have been around forever. The Husband thought they were boring but Jackie loves the illustrations. I would suggest getting the board books for younger kids though. Jackie has been known to tear books with paper pages apart...

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Little People Figure Sets
We didn't have any of these until Jackie's first birthday. Now we have tons of them. I have linked a bunch of Disney Princess ones but there are so many different sets, you can find something for any family. These are great because an older baby can carry them around, throw them, hide them. Jackie likes to hide everything. But mostly her little people Disney Princess sets. Flynn Rider from the Rapunzel set goes missing the most. I wonder if she is trying to tell me something.

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Play Tent
The Husband's parents gifted Jackie a tent for her birthday. She loves to go in and out of this so it was brilliant. She loves her tent. All of her animals are in there right now and every now and then we find her in there playing with all of them. These are great because they can be taken down easily and can be packed away. We don't have a ton of space and Jackie's tent folds up to about the size of a bath towel. I haven't had to put it away but if I did, it doesn't require a lot of space.

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Sound Machine
I was pretty insistent that we were not a sound machine family. I didn't need one growing up and I didn't use one as an adult, why would Jackie need one. And she didn't until we came back from staying at my parent's house post surgery. At their house, Jackie had a fan in the room she slept in. Their house is big with lots of people in it so having a fan in her room was necessary to keep the sound out. I didn't think we would need that when we got home. We did. After two days of Jackie not sleeping well, I caved and did one day Amazon shipping on a $20 sound machine. She went right back to sleeping like a champ. I will sing the praises of sound machines from now on.

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Car Mirror
My sister in law got us one of these as a baby gift and I don't know how people lived without them before! Paris says all the time she didn't know what she would have done if when I was little and I had to be rear facing (which was never a requirement back then) and she couldn't see me. These mirrors are brilliant and are easy to install. Babies love them because reflections are fun and parents love them because they can see baby in the car. Win, win for everyone.

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Bath Toys
All babies love bath toys. And there are so many options out there, it is hard to go wrong. Someone got us this octopus bath toy set and Jackie loves it. It's mostly the three little rings but she has recently discovered how fun the octopus is too! The nice thing about bath toys is they can be used in and out of the bath as well as outside. They are the perfect toy!

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Quiet Books
These are amazing! I bought one at a little store at the beach we go to and Jackie loves it. It took her awhile to go start playing with it but it's been a huge hit recently. For a few weeks, Jackie wouldn't even leave the house without it. There are so many options when it comes to quiet books that it's hard to go wrong when gifting one!

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Wood Worm
Paris bought one of these for Jackie and she loved it from day one. It's adorable, it stretches, it is wood. It also comes in lots of different colors too which is great for gifting. Just a warning, this toy can break. Jackie broke hers recently so I had to replace it. Luckily are on Amazon so replacing it was easy!

20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | IKEA Stacking Cups
I bought these on a whim when I was at IKEA getting shelves for our new place. They are colorful and I liked the little faces on them and they were $3. Seriously, how do you pass that up!? So I brought them home and Jackie has played with them ever since. So the next time you are at IKEA, buy a few sets to use as baby gifts!
20 Baby Gifts Under $20 | Twist Shake Baby Bottle
I have worked with TwistShake baby several times on Instagram. We love their pacifiers, bottles and sippy cups. I love that their bottles come in a bunch of sizes. They also include a piece, very similar to a protein shake bottle, that makes sure any formula is completely mixed in. I constantly have people ask me about this bottle and it's so cheap! So maybe get a few!
