Warsaw InterContinental Hotel Review
Our first stop in Warsaw was the InterContinental Hotel. We stayed there for two nights and did a tour of their facilities to see if it would work for our event. I was given a corner room with incredible views of the city. Though, with the sunrise coming much earlier than I am used to, the room did get bright and warm much earlier in the day than I would have liked! The room was very large and I loved the layout of the bathroom. The closet was big enough that I could keep my suitcase open on the suitcase rack and shut the doors. This made getting ready for the day so much easier! I didn't love where the outlets were located in this room however. Like in many hotels in Europe and the Middle East, there was not an outlet in the bathroom except for a razor outlet. This made doing my hair a little complicated!
The rest of the hotel was beautiful and very well kept. We enjoyed the tour of the facilities and our stay. They have a lovely breakfast buffet, with lots of choices. When we asked for Gluten Free bread, it was always brought to our table. The Wellness center at this hotel is one of the nicest I have ever seen! All of the equipment it new and you have a beautiful view of the city from the pool or exercise rooms.
The hotel is located downtown, just across the street from the Palace of Science and Culture. It is easy to walk to the major sites and easy to get a taxi if you don't feel like walking. Less than a block away is a good size mall with lots of store and good places to eat! Over all, I enjoyed our stay at the InterContinental and would suggest it to anyone staying in Warsaw.
