The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead

We were in Atlanta a few weeks ago looking for a location for a conference later this year. One of the locations we were looking at was The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead which is where we stayed while we were in town.

I stayed in a deluxe room and Paris stayed in an executive suite. Both rooms were incredible and had great views. I loved the bathroom, the walk-in shower with a seat was my favorite part. When I got to my room there was a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine waiting for me. As a pregnant woman who doesn’t drink alcohol anyway, I skipped the wine and went straight for the chocolate. There was a really good dark chocolate and caramel one that I loved. I didn’t really try the other ones because I am trying to be good about eating too many sweets right now! I love all of the little details throughout the room that the just make it feel a little more like home.

After the first night, we upgraded to Club Level Access rooms. I think this is worth it but it is an extra expense when you stay there. There is breakfast, lunch, hor d’oeuvres and dessert served every day along with drinks and snacks all day long. If you are going to be spending a lot of time in the hotel, it is definitely worth it. I loved the little candy bar they had set up just outside the lounge. The food was alwasy delicious, everything at The Ritz-Carlton is made in house. They even had chocolate and peanut butter macaroons. I would be lying if I said I didn’t have any (or only a few). The Christmas decorations in the lounge were beautiful, just like the ones in the rest of the hotel. You can read more about the decorations in Paris’s post from a few weeks ago.

The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead is located between the Lenox Square Mall and Phipps Plaza. Between these two malls, there is about every store you can think of. There are the regular mall stores like Gap and American Eagle but there are also a lot of high end designer stores too. There are also a few areas around the malls where there are some stores as well. Buckhead is a shopping mecca. We did have fun roaming around both malls while we were there!

I loved our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead and would highly recommend it if you are in the area. As always, the staff was amazing and our stay was memorable.
