Last week I went to the Snoopy and Belle in Fashion exhibit at Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, VA. I had honestly never heard of Snoopy & Belle in Fashion before I was asked to visit it. Here is what I learned.
Snoopy & Belle in Fashion History
In 2014, Snoopy & Belle in Fashion completed a 9-city international tour. Designs from from some of the most premier designers in the world are featured, including Diane Von Furstenberg, Philip Treacy and Zac Posen. In 2017, the exhibit began a multi city US tour that began in LA in February and will finish in New York City during New York Fashion Week in the Fall. New one-of-a-kind creations will premiered in each city. The Snoopy & Belle in Fashion App is available from the Apple App Store of Google Play Store. The app has the information about each set of designs, where the exhibit will be premiering next and even a Snapchat filter.
Snoopy & Belle at Fair Oaks
The exhibit has dolls dating back to the 1960s, when the idea first came about. I love some of the older designs! You can tell the date of the designs by the make of the doll. Older dolls are plush, while newer dolls are vinyl. My favorites were the Jenna Dewan Tatum X Danskin and Philip Treacy designs. Designs that were added at the Fairfax exhibit were from Ashley Biden X Livelihood and Barbara Tfank (who designed several of Michelle Obama’s dresses).
You can visit the exhibit at the Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax until July 18. I have teamed up with Snoopy & Belle in Fashion to giveaway two of their swag bags! Included in the bags are a Belle tank top, a booklet with information on the exhibit, a poster and a Snoopy & Belle cross body bag. This giveaway will run until Friday June 30 at 11 pm EST and is open to the US only. Enter to win in the Rafflecopter widget below:
