The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 starts tomorrow. It is time to learn how to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale like a pro. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just a few short weeks away and I want to make sure you have all the information you need to get the most out of the sale. Below you will find my guide to shopping the sale like a pro!
You have probably noticed that I don’t wear off the shoulder or cold shoulder tops.
I don’t even wear tank tops. It is a personal decision. Everything I wear has sleeves. There are a lot of really cute summer tops out there that are modest so I wanted to share them with you!
I did receive product from Thread Tank but all opinions are my own.
Aren’t these graphic tees cute? I love how soft they are! Thread Tank has lots of different graphic tees for men and women. Their tees come in different shades of gray, which I love for a more casual look.
The “All I Need is Sparkle & Mascara” tee is so me. The Husband says I must sweat glitter because it is always everywhere. The first Halloween we were dating, my roommates and I were fairies. We made our own tutus, put our hair up in braided buns, and then covered ourselves in spray on glitter. There was glitter everywhere after that for months. Glitter/sparkle have follow me around ever since. I frequently find glitter on Jackie’s head and I don’t know where they came from…
I was so excited when I opened the package from Thread Tank to find this Virginia Roots top. This shirt is extra special to me because I was born and raised in Virginia and I was able to move back here after The Husband and I got married.
Can you believe that Jackie is 3 months old tomorrow? I feel like the time has gone by so fast. She is growing so quickly, we can hardly keep her in one size of clothes for very long. I will be talking more about her and how the last month has gone in my post on Wednesday.
Next week is the 3 year anniversary of Breezing Through, crazy huh? Be sure to come back here on Monday, Wednesday and Friday because I have some awesome giveaways lined up for you!
Last week I went to the Snoopy and Belle in Fashion exhibit at Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, VA. I had honestly never heard of Snoopy & Belle in Fashion before I was asked to visit it. Here is what I learned.
Snoopy & Belle in Fashion History
In 2014, Snoopy & Belle in Fashion completed a 9-city international tour. Designs from from some of the most premier designers in the world are featured, including Diane Von Furstenberg, Philip Treacy and Zac Posen. In 2017, the exhibit began a multi city US tour that began in LA in February and will finish in New York City during New York Fashion Week in the Fall. New one-of-a-kind creations will premiered in each city. The Snoopy & Belle in Fashion App is available from the Apple App Store of Google Play Store. The app has the information about each set of designs, where the exhibit will be premiering next and even a Snapchat filter.
Snoopy & Belle at Fair Oaks
The exhibit has dolls dating back to the 1960s, when the idea first came about. I love some of the older designs! You can tell the date of the designs by the make of the doll. Older dolls are plush, while newer dolls are vinyl. My favorites were the Jenna Dewan Tatum X Danskin and Philip Treacy designs. Designs that were added at the Fairfax exhibit were from Ashley Biden X Livelihood and Barbara Tfank (who designed several of Michelle Obama’s dresses).
You can visit the exhibit at the Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax until July 18. I have teamed up with Snoopy & Belle in Fashion to giveaway two of their swag bags! Included in the bags are a Belle tank top, a booklet with information on the exhibit, a poster and a Snoopy & Belle cross body bag. This giveaway will run until Friday June 30 at 11 pm EST and is open to the US only. Enter to win in the Rafflecopter widget below:
Top: SheIn//Skirt: c/o Juniper Dress Co//Necklace: Kendra Scott//Necklace: Made By Mary//Earrings: Kendra Scott//Watch: Arvo//Bracelet: Tory Burch//Bracelets: Kendra Scott//Bag: Henri Bendel//Shoes: Target
Isn’t this skirt from Juniper Dress Co beautiful? The colors are perfect for Summer! If you can believe it, it is handmade. Whitney makes every skirt by hand so they are all unique. The material is amazing and I love how stretchy it is. I paired it with this top from SheIn, which has the most amazing sleeves. I don’t really like having an entire outfit be tight, so I usually balance out a tighter item with a looser item. That is why I choose this fun top to go with this skirt.
This Henri Bendel purse is my new favorite thing. This color is sold out but you can find it here in 4 other colors that are 50% off!
