My Favorite Travel Apps

My Favorite Travel Apps: Afterlight | Breezing Through

Over the years, I have discovered that there a certain apps that I need every time I travel. How much I use them differs depending on where I am traveling, but these seven apps tend to be my most used apps!

My Favorite Travel Apps: Afterlight | Breezing Through

Afterlight is definitely a favorite. This is one of the best photo editing apps out there, I think. You have so many options when it comes to editing your pictures and you can save them directly to your phone or upload them to pretty much any social media site, straight from the app. Its very easy to use and takes your pictures from bland to lifelike! Price: $0.99

My Favorite Travel Apps: Expensify| Breezing Through
If you are traveling for work, Expensify is a must! This great app works with your Expensify account, go sign up for one on their website if you haven’t already, and allows you to upload receipts and other expenses into your expense reports. You can also track time you are working and track distance traveled if you need to keep track of that for work as well. Once you take a picture of your receipt, you don’t need to worry about carrying the paper around anymore or losing it! Price: FREE

My Favorite Travel Apps: Hangouts| Breezing Through
There are so many different apps like Hangouts, but this one is my favorite. It is so easy to use and you can actually have a video conversation with more than one person at a time. This app works all over the world and it feels like you are talking to someone a few miles away! Price: FREE

My Favorite Travel Apps: Instagram| Breezing Through

I know, so typical. But I can’t live without my Instagram app! I use it everywhere I go and I am able to share things on my Instagram account that I don’t share on the blog! I also follow a lot of other bloggers on Instagram! Price: FREE

My Favorite Travel Apps: Maps| Breezing Through
I don’t think that anyone else does maps and directions like Google Maps. I know that Apple Maps is preloaded on every iPhone, but I stopped using that when my first apartment address wasn’t a place Apple Maps could navigate to! So Google Maps it is. This app is great for everywhere. I use it all the time and I think it is pretty accurate in measuring destination times! Price: FREE

My Favorite Travel Apps: Photoshop| Breezing Through

I love Adobe Photoshop Express. This is such a great app for editing blog pictures on my iPad while I am traveling. You get a lot of the Photoshop options and you can even save your pictures to Adobe to access later. Price: FREE

My Favorite Travel Apps: Posts| Breezing Through
Posts
has to be my favorite app. This app allows you to work on your blog from anywhere in the world, with or without internet connection! I use it all of the time when I am on an airplane because I can write a blog post, save it to the app, then the app will automatically sync with my blog once I am connected to the internet again. You can upload pictures, write text and schedule posts. Price: FREE

What are some of your favorite apps?

Emily, I love this post! I’d never heard of afterlight– I always use Instagram to edit my photos and I’m getting pretty sick of “X Pro” and “walden”! Thanks for sharing these favorites:)

Whoa that adobe photoshop sounds GREAT. I don’t travel so often because I’m busy and poor and in school, but I look forward to being able to use these apps (aside from Instagram – because what good blogger doesn’t instagram?) when I get to travel again!
