Unless you live under a rock, you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have several very close family friends who died from Breast Cancer so this topic is very sensitive to me. I know there are tons of ways to support Breast Cancer research and there are lots of people out there trying to “raise awareness”. Most of that involves posting pictures of women with no tops on saying “Save the Ta-Tas”. I’m really not a fan of that. I wasn’t a fan of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge either if I’m being honest. I feel like if you are going to try to raise awareness for something or support a cause, you should be donating to that cause, not posting a picture or a video of yourself on the Internet.
In the spirit of being proactive and donating, Swimwear Anywhere actually donates $3-$5 from each purchase from their Beach House Pink Line to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I love that I can buy a cute swimsuit and contribute to an awesome research cause at the same time. Since I don’t believe in posting pictures of myself to promote these causes, I am posting pictures of the suit I chose!
I went with the Be Pink Racerbank Tankini and the Be Pink Skirted Bottom. I think these make such a great combo and will be perfect for our trip to Charleston in November! I love having a sporty swim outfit that I can wear when chasing my cousins on the beach!
Be sure to go and buy a few things from the Beach House Pink Line before October is over!
